Introduction
This blog will be solely focussed on a lovely spec Land Rover Discovery Sport I recently took on for a Standard Valet which was luckily all it really needed, the paint was quite swirled as well as some wet sanding marks that were left un-refined from a previous paintwork job from a garage. This was quite unacceptable, however I hadn’t the time nor the budget to be correcting or refining the paintwork.
What The Car Received:
- Safe exterior wash on all exterior panels.
- Wheel barrels, faces and tyres cleaned.
- Dried using a safe exterior towel.
- Exhaust tips cleaned and polished (where applicable).
- Spray sealant applied to exterior (lasts around 1-2 months).
- Interior vacuumed.
- Interior plastic cleaned.
A Basic Overview
This was a 2018 Discovery Sport which had come in for a nice tidy up as it was getting on the dirty side of things (by no means very dirty!) So it was booked in for a Standard Valet as this would get it looking good without wanting to get the paint corrected or protected with any sophisticated coating.
The inside was treated to a basic vacuum and all plastics and touch points (steering wheel, gear selector) were wiped down, and to finish off, tyres were dressed and glass was cleaned.
Overall a pretty basic going over which resulted in the car turning out really well! Below I will attach some photos

Summary
In conclusion, this Discovery Sport came in looking pretty good but left looking even better which is the main thing, the owner was pleased with the outcome too, even if it was collected at night time.
